Change Your Thoughts, Change Your Life. Literally.
The average person has between 12,000 and 60,000 thoughts per dayIn 2005, the National Science Foundation announced that the average perso has between 12,000 - 60,000 thoughts per day. Yes, 60,000 thoughts with four zeroes. The shocking part about this fact continues - Of those 12-60k thoughts, 80% are negative and 95% are exactly the same repetitive thoughts as the day before.Let me repeat that: 80% of the average person's thoughts are negative and 95% are the same as the day before. There are two significant issues in these facts.1) Negativity: Are we really that negative with ourselves everyday? Can we really not find more than 20% of things to think about that are more positive and less negative? Are our lives so miserable that we somehow have a right to be so damn negative with ourselves? Do we deserve it?P A U S E.Do we deserve it?I'll get back to you on that.2) Repetition is Fatal: We have all heard about the death zone called "the comfort zone" in modern times. We have all heard more than once that in order to grow, we must learn new things and change habits that are bringing us one step backward everyday instead of forward. So why are we continously not seeking change and a break from this pattern of life? What are we thinking about? Are we thinking about taking a step forward, breaking bad habits, replacing negative thoughts with positive ones, and finally attaning that change we have longed for?Or, are we thinking about how miserable our lives are? How it's okay to stay in a depressing relationship. THE JOB WE HATE BUT PAYS THE BILLS. Are we thinking about how tired, frustarted, and helpless we feel? Do we have no motivation left?Stop. Stop those repetitive negative thoughts from extinguishing the power of your extroadinary mind. Your mnd can change everything. you can change everything. And you can start with ONE new thought, and it better be a positive one. What you focus on will be what you become. You decide (or think).
